Women of Northlawn (WON)

The Women of Northlawn (WON) serve as the Missions branch of the church. All women are welcome. Through their many fellowship and outreach events such as the Grapevine Harvest Craft Show, WON works to support many local ministries each year.

Participation in the group provides opportunities to make many connections with the community, with new friends and mentors, and most importantly, with Christ.

WON Meets First Tuesday of the Month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm

All women of the church and community are invited to gather monthly for fellowship and mission, participate in the mission of the church, and make a real impact by serving and raising funds for amazing ministries.

Learn about ways you can connect and serve at Northlawn and in the community.  Share your thoughts, heart, and story about how God is at work in your life as well. Each month a different speaker or organization representative shares their heart for ministry, shedding light on needs and problems happening right here in West Michigan.

Join WON on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm to be a part of what God is doing in this way.

Note: WON does not meet in the months of December, January, and February.

Monthly Clatter Offering

On the fourth Sunday of every month, WON sponsors a special "Clatter Offering" during worship. This offering gets its name from sound of loose change "clattering" into the metal collection buckets.

Each month's Clatter Offering goes towards a local ministry selected by Women of Northlawn. Past organizations that received Clatter Offering funds include:

  • Kid's Food Basket
  • Forgotten Man Mission
  • Covenant House of Michigan
  • GRPD
  • United Methodist Camping Ministry
  • Open Doors/Open Hearts
  • In the Image
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • St. John's Home for Kids
  • Grand Rapids Veterans Home
  • St Alphonsus Christmas Store
  • Bus Ticket Ministry.
