NORTHLAWNKIDS

Sharing the love of Jesus among hearts of all ages!

At Northlawn, kids have the opportunity to learn about and connect with God through Bible stories, songs, service, and art. Children's ministry at Northlawn is growing as fast as the kids themselves! We're grateful to watch kids lead the way and, as a church, are eager to support and guide them on their journey.

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment to meet the right level of age and development where kids can encounter Jesus, spend time with safe adults, and connect with one another.

Families are invited to check out the nursery and Kid's Connection spaces before the service.  Simply let a greeter know that you would like a tour upon arriving at Northlawn or contact the church in advance so we can show you around!

Who's Involved?

Newborns through preschoolers (age 4) enjoy time with loving, nurturing staff and volunteers in the nursery. A preschool-aged storytime happens every Sunday in the nursery. Designed for preschool-aged kids but open for all, kids sing songs, hear a story from the Bible, and enjoy an activity together. Infants and young preschoolers can join in the nursery before parents head to worship.

Kindergarten through sixth grade students start their morning in worship and move to the Kid's Connection program. Stay in service for music and the Children's Message, then travel upstairs together for a themed scripture lesson, games, and other fun activities. Our goal is to build community and serve our community together every week!

Interested in Serving?

Thriving Family Ministry at Northlawn takes gifts, heart, and many hands. Stop by the Connection Corner on a Sunday morning or send an email to our Family Ministries Director Caitlin and we'll find the right fit for you!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry. Every Family Ministry volunteer has passed a background check and complete regular trainings offered by the church. Our volunteers are committed to making Northlawn a safe and caring place, from rocking babies in the nursery, guiding toddlers to learn about Jesus, and leading older students to serve in the name of Christ.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
