 CAMPING OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUR CHILD
WHAT POSSIBILITIES WILL YOU CREATE FOR YOUR CHILD THIS SUMMER?
Fun, Joy, Self-Discovery, Friendships, Personal Growth, Relaxation, Independence, Adventure.
 
What about a relationship with God?
 
The Summer Camp Programs of the West Michigan Conference Camp and Retreat Ministries are about meeting the hopes and dreams of parents, and creating lifelong, life-changing memories for young people in a safe, fun, caring environment.
 
Your child will have the opportunity to look back at the summer of 2012 and remember singing camp songs, sensing the sounds, sights, and smells of nature, creating new friendships with kids from faraway places, and discovering an ever-greater love for God in their heart.
 
Your child will grow in self-confidence, resourcefulness, and gratefulness as they encounter a spiritual awakening that will unfold over a lifetime.
 
These are the steps:
  1. Pick up a brochure (available at Connection Corner. 
  2. Pick out a camp.
  3. Register online or by mail and let Barb Jeltema (363-6480 or barbjeltema@yahoo.com) know which camp you've picked.
  4. Go to camp and enjoy.
Good news from the Conference too!
A first-time camper may apply for a $50 rebate (full-week camp) or a $25 rebate (mini-camp).  This will cut the cost of your week of camp for the church.  The rebate form is on the last page of the camp brochure.
 
Watch for fun opportunities to raise $$$ for our Campership      3 ½.     Northlawn has faithfully been paying to send kids to camp for years.
 

    With this years budget predictions there will be a change but don’t let

    that make you skip camp!  There are fun plans “in the works” to fund

    our camping budget!  Camperships, of some sort, will be available!

 

 

      4.       Wait patiently for your week of camp then go have fun!
