Join Us for Online or In-Person Worship

Northlawn United Methodist Church has reopened the doors of our church for in-person Sunday worship while we continue to offer online worship as well.

While we are excited to see you again, safety for our church family and community remains our biggest priority. So, if you are in any of the at-risk categories, are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, or simply feel uncomfortable worshiping in-person at this time, we encourage you to stay home. We will continue to stream our services on Facebook or you can find them afterward on our Messages page, allowing us to join together virtually as one church.

To maintain the health and safety of our congregation and guests, our in-person worship service is limited to a certain number of attendees. If you would like to join in worship, please RSVP each individual that plans to attend. You will need to RSVP for each Sunday service; links for each Sunday service are below.

Please follow these simple in-person guidelines to keep all protected from COVID-19 while we are worshipping together.

  • Masks are required at all times inside of the building.
  • Social distancing of at least 6 feet.
  • Please make use of the hand sanitizer throughout the building.
  • Every other pew will be used, with ample spacing in between households.
  • No hugs or handshakes (we'll get there! Just not yet...)
  • If you or anyone in your household are feeling ill, please stay home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I Have to Wear a Face-Covering or Mask?

A: Yes, a face covering or mask is required at all times while in the building for individuals three years old and up. Please make sure that your face covering covers both your nose and mouth.

Q: What time should I arrive at the church?

A: Please plan to arrive between 10-15 minutes before the worship service begins at 9:45. Once you arrive, you will be shown to a seat until the worship service begins.

Q: How do I know where to sit?

A: An usher will help you find a seat and welcome you to the worship service.

Q: How do I know what six feet is while sitting in the pews or chairs in the Narthex?

A:  We are currently using every other pew to help maintain social distancing. Ushers will be helping to distance each group of people that attends.

Q: Can I sit in the balcony?

A: Currently the balcony will not be open for seating as there is a technical issue present when people walk in the balcony. Please stay tuned for when we open it back up.

Q: Are Children Allowed In Service?

A: Children are always welcome in our worship services.

Q: Will There Be Childcare Provided By The Church?

A: There is currently no childcare provided.

Q: Will The Church Service Be The Same As It Was Pre-COVID?

A: While the quality of sermons, music, and worship elements will remain excellent, due to the nature of six feet of separation and other precautions, worship will feel different for parts of the service.
