Knit, crochet, and enjoy fellowship of the group on the first Thursday of every month. Or, make a shawl from home. 
If you know someone who could use the comfort of a prayer shawl - because they are hurting in some way- pick out a shawl and take it o them. Or, let us know and we will see that they get it. Each shawl includes a decorative bag and a special message: 
May this prayer shawl be a sign of His healing presence.
May it warm those who are weary, surround those who suffer, and encircle those who are in pain.

YARN NEEDED
We have two groups who knit at Northlawn: Prayer Shawl and Knitting with a Purpose. Also, there are several who crochet!  Both groups meet on Thursdays at 7:00pm.  If you are not a knitter/crocheter we can use yarn or money to buy yarn.  We can use any yarn you have that needs using.  Besides Prayer Shawls we make other items for needy children & mothers.  If you have questions contact Jane Lachneit  (leave message) or Sue Cleveland.  We thank you for your donations.
